Texas

Hi Friends,
This next blog is dedicated to my wonderful friend Courtney Ferguson. Courtney and I met a long time ago when we both did the show Cabaret. She was Texas and I was Helga. We have been friends ever since. She and I talk about everything! Ihop is usually were we get together and talk about our night of craziness which is always fun because most of the time we were both there to experience it together. So we think back about the night before and laugh over pancakes. Courtney is the type of friend who is loyal through and through which is hard to find. I feel as if I'm not always deserving of her friendship because as much as I try I can't always be there for her. One I'm on the road and two I'm always busy, this was even before I got this job. She however is a loving friend and it seems whenever we do get together and talk it is as if nothing has changed; no time has passed.

Courtney and I were talking on the phone one day and she informed me that she and her boyfriend Danny were engaged. ABOUT TIME!!!!!!!! Oh my goodness I was soooooo excited for her. I squealed so loud the neighbors must have heard. I can't wait until next Fall! Later on in the week Courtney called me with some more good news. She has a new job as a teacher. Unfortunately Courtney has not had the best luck as a teacher in Lynchburg. Teaching positions are hard to come be and after she worked at Forest Middle as a Gym/Health Teacher and as a coach for Softball, they let her go. It seems jobs these days are so hard to come by and Courtney was fine with the jobs she could find but I knew in my heart of hearts that she wasn't happy. I'm so happy to hear that she is actually doing what she loves to do now annnnnnnnnd COURTNEY'S GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!!!!
